How to read the Market Watchlist
This watchlist is not about staring at isolated numbers. It is a fast way to see where capital is flowing, whether risk is expanding or contracting, and which parts of the crypto market are actually leading.
What you are trying to answer
Before looking for a trade, use the watchlist to build a quick market read.
TOTAL3, OTHERS, TOTAL2
These measure strength outside Bitcoin. If they are outperforming, capital is generally moving further out on the risk curve and into alts.
ETHBTC is one of the cleanest alt gauges
Rising ETHBTC means ETH is gaining against BTC, which is generally supportive for broader altcoin participation. Falling ETHBTC means Bitcoin is stronger.
USDT.D and OTHERS.D
Falling USDT dominance often means capital is leaving stablecoins and moving into crypto. Rising USDT.D can indicate traders moving toward safety.
OTHERS.D rising alongside a falling USDT.D adds breadth — more of the market participating, not just majors.
AI.C, MEME.C, LAYER1.C, TOTALDEFI
Sector market caps show where capital is actually concentrating. Comparing them quickly reveals whether AI, memes, L1s, DeFi or another area is leading.
ETHEREUM.C and SOLANA.C
These let you compare where ecosystem-level capital is building. If one chain is consistently outperforming, its related names may offer better opportunities.
DXY, US10, USOIL, XAUAUD, ES1!
A weaker dollar and softer yields are generally friendlier for risk assets. A strong dollar and rising yields can create headwinds for crypto and equities.
Gold and oil help frame inflation, geopolitics and defensive flows when macro headlines dominate. S&P futures (ES1!) show whether traditional risk is moving with or against crypto.
The key is when the list agrees
The best read comes when several parts of the watchlist tell the same story — like the session in the screenshot above.
When stablecoin dominance is falling, ETH is gaining against BTC, alt market caps are strong and multiple sectors are expanding, that is a much stronger risk-on signal than simply seeing BTC green.
